Spotlight: Lightly-raced mare was initially highly tried by Willie Mullins; hooded when making the most of a huge drop in class at Tramore (2m4f maiden) and more recently much improved form to readily win 2m Galway mares' handicap under more patient ride, seeing it out strongly; hit with 11lb rise but quite likely has more to offer.

Spotlight: Ballinrobe bumper winner for Andrew Slattery last year; won 2m Punchestown maiden hurdle last October on stable debut and has run well in defeat since, notably chasing home 10l winner Paul's Dream in 2m4f Kilbeggan handicap and most recently fine third of 20 over best trip of 2m in Galway Hurdle (several of these behind); 2lb rise but big player.

Spotlight: Progressive mare won handicaps at Ballinrobe and Kilbeggan earlier this term, and added a further win with career-best in taking 2m6f Galway conditions event early this month, produced late to win going away; clearly in terrific form, although drop back to 2m may not be ideal.

Spotlight: Killarney winner in the spring and finished a very creditable fourth of 20 in the Galway Hurdle (Thisistheway second, Gameball third); reverted to Flat to win Killarney amateur riders' contest last month and cheekpieces now fitted for hurdles return.

Spotlight: Highly tried after winning a maiden hurdle at Limerick last Christmas, posting higher RPRs in Grade 1 novices at Leopardstown and Aintree; more recently never counted in mid-field in Galway Hurdle.

Spotlight: Has developed into a smart handicap hurdler; first past the post in a big field at Aintree's Grand National meeting (2m, good to soft) only to be disqualified for a whip offence and then only beaten a neck in 16-runner Swinton Hurdle at Haydock (good); didn't really land a blow in Galway Hurdle off career-high mark.

Spotlight: Three-time hurdle winner, whose best runs have been in defeat in very competitive handicaps, at Leopardstown over Christmas and more recently when second of 20 in Galway Hurdle (several of these behind) from out of the handicap; soft ground wouldn't have suited on the Flat latest, but obvious claims on Galway Hurdle run.

Spotlight: Flat winner in France is 0-4 hurdling with champion trainer, jumping letting down the 5yo, notably when having 2m4f maiden at his mercy when faller at the last here in May; likely open to improvement if getting jumping sorted, but his technique will be under pressure here against seasoned handicappers.

Spotlight: Bumper and dual hurdles winner including 2m5f Killarney mares' event in July; ordinary enough form since in Flat maidens and this trip possibly on the short side for handicap hurdle debut.

Spotlight: Second to subsequent Galway Hurdle winner Putapoundinthejar at Bellewstown in July, and went one better over 2m1f at Killarney last month under a positive ride; soon beaten back on the Flat at Cork recently but remains of interest.

Spotlight: Point/bumper winner; improved hurdler this season, wide-margin winner of Cork maiden and landed short odds at Perth early this month; stiff task at the weights, but nonetheless disappointing last of three finishers in 2m novice here on Wednesday; handicap debut.

Spotlight: Progressive 6yo gained a third Kilbeggan win in May and has since added two wins at Downpatrick, most recently last month when beating four rivals in 2m2f rated contest; in between only mid-field at Bellewstown; one to consider on overall profile.

Spotlight: Dual-purpose mare enjoyed a good spring campaign, two good Curragh Flat efforts sandwiching a Bellewstown hurdles success (2m1f, yielding); ran no sort of race however on returning to latter venue in early July and has had a break since.

Spotlight: Won the Tattersalls Gold Cup in 2021; first-past-the-post in last year's Galway Hurdle, demoted for causing interference; fair sixth in this year's edition on ground plenty quick, below best back on the Flat at Leopardstown recently.

Spotlight: Dual hurdles winner whose most recent win came in 2m Cheltenham novice chase nearly two years ago; recent Flat run at Gowran was encouraging but needs to improve a good bit on previous Galway hurdles effort.
