Spotlight: Dual hurdle winner who broke his Flat duck when dropped down to a Class 6 at Redcar (1m6f, good to firm) off 2lb lower last month; moderate at a higher level in two subsequent starts but his sole AW effort was a solid one when fourth of 14 at Dundalk (Polytrack) in the spring of 2024; possibilities if he copes with this return to 1m4f.

Spotlight: Placed on his three starts here, all over this trip, including when he scored off 2lb higher in February and when giving Rubellite plenty to think about in first-time cheekpieces in June; like most of the field he was stuffed at Chester last time but his prospects are much brighter returned to this venue.

Spotlight: 13-race maiden but he was in the frame in both starts here (6f nurseries) when trained by Nigel Tinkler last year; his third behind Farabove The Limit at Carlisle (1m3f, good) last month was the last of a sequence of solid efforts but he threw in a clunker when beating one home at Redcar last time; blinkers go on.

Spotlight: His form when fourth and third in 1m4f turf handicaps this summer give him solid claims; last time's effort, when beaten 18l at Beverley, needs to be overlooked but he's not fully exposed; cheekpieces come off for this AW debut.

Spotlight: Three wins on slow ground in France (1m3f/1m4f); big prices and limited encouragement in seven starts for his current yard this year, albeit he came home without his left-fore shoe last time; mark in freefall and this is his first appearance in a Class 6, so worth a cursory market glance.

Spotlight: No impact in two runs over hurdles and two runs on the Flat this summer for Olly Murphy; makes stable debut and he's lightly raced but a watching brief is advised.

Spotlight: Came good for Natalia Lupini when bagging a Dundalk maiden (Polytrack, 10.5f) by a head in February; didn't beat a rival (heavy defeats) on his next two starts, however, and that was also the case on his stable debut at Redcar a fortnight ago; last time's visor makes way for blinkers and yard surely has higher hopes for Rubellite.

Spotlight: Lightly raced 4yo who wasn't disgraced when sixth of eight at Hamilton (1m4f, good) on his penultimate start, but he was beaten 30l on soft ground back there three weeks ago; makes AW debut.

Spotlight: Solid strike-rate on AW at up to 1m2f but he struggled in two starts (both here; 7f/1m) this year; placed in all three outings over 1m4f but the latest of those was back in 2023; needs a revival.

Spotlight: Won a course novice for Harry Charlton in December but she was struggling in August on her first two starts (good to soft) for this yard; offered a fraction more at Redcar (good) last time so it will be interesting to see if she can build on that over this new trip (unraced beyond 1m) back on AW.

Spotlight: She didn't run badly when sixth of 13 here (1m2f) in June but couldn't build on that when beaten 16l in a classified event at Wolverhampton (1m4f) one month ago; others look stronger.
